Laboratory

Laboratory of Embryonic and Genetic Engineering

To overcome intractable diseases through analyses of model animals
Research Theme
Development of the treatment for genetic disorders based on the use of model animals
Research Keywords

neurodegenrative disease, poly-glutamine disease, autophagy, model mice, embryonic engineering

Overview of Research and Education

Research Contents: Gene functions and mechanisms of disease process, at the level of live organisms, can be analyzed by using model animals. We create genetically modified experimental model mice to investigate genetic diseases.
