The Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ) organizes an annual symposium covering a broad research areas. In 2024, ISAJ symposium was held in Hokkaido University on December 13 and was co-organized by ICReDD (Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery). Mr. Aravind Kanda Swamy, PhD student in the Laboratory of Molecular Chemical Biology (Monde lab) got an opportunity to present his doctoral course research titled “Shortwave-infrared cyanine fluorescent probes: A new approach for deep tissue molecular imaging” and was honored with the best oral presentation award.
