Dr. King has been selected to receive a 2022 Young Investigator award from the American Chemical Society (ACS) Polymer Materials: Science and Engineering (PMSE) division. This award is given to highlight the accomplishments of early career researchers who are making an impact in the field of Polymer Science and Engineering. As a part of this award, he has been asked to present at a special symposium at the 2022 Fall ACS Meeting in Chicago, USA (August 21-25). The title of his invited talk is “From weakness comes strength: how double networks ignore defects to achieve synergistic toughening.”
