Dr. Gong and Dr. Tsunoda receives the Award of the Society of Rubber Science and Technology, Japan (2021), joint with Dr. Kohzo Ito (University of Tokyo), Dr. Hideaki Yokoyama (University of Tokyo), and Dr. Kenji Urayama (Kyoto Institute of Technology).
The award-winning achievement is “Development of a polymer complex that achieves both low fuel consumption and high strength toward the realization of resource-saving tires,” which is a result of a joint research by the Cabinet Office ImPACT Ito program “Realizing an Ultra-Thin and Flexible Tough Polymer.”
