Report on Skill Development Support: Reflecting on One’s Research from the Perspective of “Plants” (Ms. Miho Akasaka)

The Faculty of Advanced Life Science and the Graduate School of Life Science offer “Skill Development Support” to their graduate students.

The program is for students in the “MC-DC combined program to shorten course study”, along with the outstanding master students (and 4th year undergraduate students of the Division of Biological Sciences (Macromolecular Functions), School of Science) who wish to advance to the doctoral program of the Division of Life Science (Transdisciplinary Life Science Course) or the Division of Soft Matter. The program aims to improve students’ research skills by providing support for activities such as participation in academic conferences.

Ms. Miho Akasaka (MC1, Division of Soft Matter, Graduate School of Life Science) participated in the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Plant Biotechnology held in Kobe in September 2025.
