Thorsten Wohland (Professor, Department of Biological Sciences and Department of Chemistry, National University of Singapore) and Hokkaido University Partner Vladana Vukojević (Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Neuroscience and Center for Molecular Medicine, Karolinska Institute, Visiting Professor, University of Belgrade) came to teach 3 Hokkaido Summer Institute courses with the Graduate School of Advanced Life Science. The courses were attended by 10 students from Japan, Singapore and Servia. They studied advanced fluorescence microscopy imaging techniques to quantitatively characterize molecular transportation networks and interactions in live cells.
