The long-term relationship between Hokkaido University and the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) was formalized with a comprehensive collaborative agreement, signed in 2004. Over the last decade, the two institutions have been engaged in various interactive activities, particularly in a joint graduate program.
20th Anniversary Celebration was held on December 19 – 20, 2024, at NIMS (Tsukuba, Ibaraki).
