Faculty of Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University consider it important to create the next generation in transdisciplinary life science in order to promote new development besides the basic and application research in life science. Researchers in the area of biology/physics/chemistry take on the leading-edge of life science and material science. Departments in charge of education are Graduate School of Life Science (Transdisciplinary Life Science Course) and Biological Science (Macromolecular Functions), School of Science. In addition, we are in process working on Global Institution for Collaborative Research and Education – GI-CoRE with Hokkaido University support.

Faculty of Advanced Life Science invites application for a tenure-track position in the area of Biological Information Analysis Science. (Job type: Assistant Professor level. Initial appointment is five years.)

Those who can actively promote research with existing research groups or those who can globally lead the way in a new research area
Those who can work on the education and research supervision in school and graduate school cooperatively with existing faculties.
