In this talk, I will focus on the importance of internationalization and global collaboration in Research. First, we will discuss about working in an international environment. We will see the differences and similarities of research styles at Europe, USA and Japan. I recommend adapting and keeping the balance between your own background and new situation. Further, we will highlight the importance of communication and doing your own research network to get collaborations, approach to other disci-plines or just for making personal relationships. Through real examples and personal experience we will be able to understand and get motivated to start having a global mind.
