Overview of Research

Protein folding: Proteins are biological “machines.” Proteins must “fold” in order to carry out these functions as machines. However, the process of protein folding remains unclear in many ways. We study the mechanisms of protein folding and the structures of proteins. Our ultimate goal is to be able to design the three-dimensional structure of protein.
