Honorary Professor Hugh R. Brown from University of Wollongong, Australia will be delivering the seminar “Modelling the Failure of Multiple Network Gels and Elastomers at the Chain Level” from 2:00p.m. at the Community Hall (1st floor) Shionogi Innovation Center for Drug Discovery, Hokkaido University.
Hokkaido University issued a press release in English on “Cold medicine could stop cancer spread”. Dr. Shinya Tanaka, and Dr. Masumi Tsuda from Global Station for Soft Matter are among the researchers for this work.
Dr. Kazunori Yasuda, Executive / Vice-President, Specially-appointed Professor of Graduate school of Medicine, Hokkaido University and Dr. Tomohiro Onodera, Lecturer of Clinical Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Hokkaido University joined GSS. Professor Masao Doi from International Research Center, Beihang University, Beijing, China, will be delivering the seminar “Onsager Principle – A Useful Principle in Soft Matter Dynamics-” on Friday, September 30 from 1:00 p.m. at the Science Building #2, 4th floor Room 402, Hokkaido University.
