Laboratory of Protein Science

Protein Sciences, from production to application
Research Theme
Studies on production methods for recombinant proteins and peptides / Research on proteins and peptides using NMR spectroscopy and genetic engineering / NMR metabolomics
Research Keywords

protein science, structural biology, protein engineering, NMR, metabolome, biomarker research, biological defense, innate immunity, antimicrobial peptides, allergen, cytokines, microbiological control

Overview of Research and Education

Research Contents: Our main research targets are 1) NMR analysis of proteins and peptides, 2) development of novel production methods of heterologous proteins and peptides. Our final goals of the research is to create the artificial proteins with complete control. We also utilize NMR for metabolomics researches.
